Copy and share referral links
Preserve attribution when copying, shortening, deep linking or generating a QR code.

Find your own link
In the participant portal, select Promote. The affiliate details window contains your link and any assigned code. For the full list, open Settings → Personal Information → Affiliate Links. A program can offer several landing pages; copy the address for the page you actually want to promote.
If no links section appears, the program may use code-only tracking. Check with the program manager rather than inventing a link.
Keep the tracking tag
Copy the complete address. Programs can use different tag names, such as ref or via. Keep the exact tag and value from your portal. These are explanatory examples, not working DigLab participant links:
https://example.com/product?ref=YOUR_LINK_ID
https://example.com/product?utm_source=newsletter&ref=YOUR_LINK_IDUse ? before the first query parameter and & between later parameters. Do not remove existing campaign tags.
Use short links and QR codes carefully
If enabled, use the eye icon to switch between short and full links. The QR control uses the address currently shown. Test the final QR code on a phone before printing. Build deep links and additional campaign tags from the full address, because a short link already has a fixed destination.
Rename or delete a live link only after reviewing everywhere it has been published. Old copies can stop attributing visits. Creating a new channel link is safer than renaming a printed or published one.
Check the published result
- Open the final link from the actual post or page.
- Confirm it reaches the intended destination.
- Check that redirects preserve attribution.
- Compare Clicks, Referrals and Earnings for that link in the correct date range.
